Our founding principle at Slippery Elephant is directly reflected in our products.  We strive to design and locally produce quality skin care products with all the necessary ingredients to keep your skin healthy and beautiful.  No more.  No less.

Founded by the husband-and-wife team of Lisa and Ron Reeves, they knew they could fill a niche.  Lisa, a practicing nurse for 25 years, tried countless hand creams and salves during her career but wanted something without many ingredients she couldn’t pronounce, but that still treated her dry hands (she’s a bit of a germaphobe).  Ron’s passion for skin care started when his favorite stick for his crusty heels was not made anymore.  He tried many, but he couldn’t find an alternative that worked.  And thus…Slippery Elephant was born.
